Two arrested for organized retail theft

AUBURN, Ala. - On Nov. 9, 2025, Auburn Police arrested James Wylie Jackson III, age 51, and Shadrika Detrice Jackson, age 45, both from Auburn, Alabama, charging each with organized retail theft.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police responding to a report of a theft in progress at a business located in the 2900 block of East University Drive on Nov. 9. The suspects, later identified as James Jackson and Shadrika Jackson, were contacted by officers as they were leaving the business.

After further investigation, both individuals were arrested for organized retail theft. They were transported to the Lee County Jail and both held on $10,000 bonds.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
